This was a major project together with The Phoenix Effect. We designed and produced 11 new road signs measuring 10 x 5 ft. They can be seen all over county Clare. Alls signs have the same look except for the white old-style roadsign in the middle.
Here is the annual advertisement for the festival in the Set Dancing News magazine. It’s a half page ad and it’s based on the the poster I designed for the festival
This is this year’s poster. I designed posters for the Festival for the last four years and they were all based on the initial design. This year it was decided by the festival’s committee to change the design. Astrid made this wonderfull drawing on brown paper of three people dancing, singing and playing music all in one. And that’s what the festival is about! I kept the design in a grungy look, what fits with the brown crumpled paper background.
Here are two poster I designed for the NatureQuest Gallery in Kilrush. The first one was for Astrid’s exhibition and the second one is for an exhibition by local artists, during St. Patrick’s day, hence the name ‘Green’. The posters for this gallery were designed on an odd size. This way they stand out between all A4 and A3 posters, and you cen get two for the price of one!
I came across an article from Jacob Cass on the blog “the webdesignerdepot.com” that I found interesting. I think it is good advice if you want a logo designed for your new business.
